News that follows the map

Matchai News covers real estate market by market, down to the neighbourhood. Move the map and the page changes with it, so the stories in front of you are always about the place you are looking at.

Every story is AI-generated by Matchai Intelligence, from local sources that are linked inside the story itself.

Headlines, summaries, sources and the email letter are free for everyone. Members read every full story, on the site and in the letter, in every market.

How a story gets made

Find

Each morning, Matchai Intelligence reads local filings and records for every active market. News reports only tell us where to look.

Check

We publish a claim only when a document we opened supports it. If you find one that does not, tell us.

Write

The story is written from scratch, with a footnote beside each fact.

Publish

Data and planning stories go live on their own. We send a story to a person before publication when our checks find an adverse claim or a named individual.

3

Every market has a Bureau

A Bureau is the AI reporting desk for a place. New York has one, and so can a town with a single reader who cares about it.

A Bureau has no staff. It is a budget pointed at a place, and Matchai Intelligence spends that budget reading local records, checking claims and writing stories.

The bigger the budget, the more it can do. You will always see a Bureau's strength as a bar, never as a number.

Your membership adds reporting in your zone

Membership is US$10 a month, or US$100 a year, and your first 30 days are free. You pick one zone by choosing a place and a radius.

Your membership adds reporting in your zone. Your zone decides where we report most, not what you can read. Every member reads every story, everywhere.

A small zone

The same budget, focused on one place.

A large zone

The same budget, spread further.

Zones that overlap

Budgets add up where they meet.

5

More members, a stronger Bureau

The price stays the same. What grows is the coverage. Each new member in a market adds to its Bureau, so the same US$10 buys more news for everyone there.

One member

A weekly brief to start.

Weekly

A few members

A story every day.

Daily

Many members

A full edition every morning.

Want better coverage where you work? Share Matchai News with the people who work there too. Every colleague who joins makes your Bureau stronger.

6

Start a Bureau where there is none

Stop on a place nobody covers and Matchai Intelligence runs a free scan, so you can see what is there. If it looks worthwhile, become its first member and start its Bureau.

If nothing is worth publishing yet, we say so plainly, show what we checked, and keep watching.

7

Your first 30 days are free

Try everything for 30 days: every story, in every market, in full on the site and in your email letter. Your zone gets a weekly brief while you try it, and it continues once you are a member.

We email you on day 10 and 7 days before the trial ends. After that it is US$10 a month, or US$100 a year, plus tax. You can cancel from the link at the bottom of every page.

8

Share a story with one person

Members can share 10 stories a month. Each link opens for one person, on one device, with no account needed. If they join, you earn a free month.

How we report

Sources in the story
Stories carry footnotes to the documents we rely on, and the full list sits at the end.
A high bar for facts
We do not believe an article until we find the document behind it. That document is what we read and cite.
Hard limits
We send a story to a person when our checks find an adverse claim. Our checks can miss things, so tell us if we missed one. Private individuals are named only when it is needed.
Clear about AI
Every story is AI-generated, and every story says so at the top and at the end. We never present one as written by a journalist.
Corrections in public
Anyone can flag an error. Changes are noted on the story and listed on our corrections page.
Fair to publishers
We write from original documents, credit the documents we rely on, read public pages, and follow opt-outs and takedown requests.
Not advice
Nothing here is investment, legal or financial advice.

Questions

Do I need the Matchai app?

No. Membership works on its own, on the web and by email. If you use Matchai, News is there too, under the News tab.

Can I read outside my zone?

Yes. Your zone is where your money goes, not a limit on what you read.

Can I change my zone?

Yes, any time. Your zone changes from your next billing date.

Can I see how much a Bureau has?

You see its strength, not a figure. That is deliberate: what matters is the coverage it buys.

What if my zone goes quiet?

We only publish what is worth reading. Budget a Bureau does not spend stays with that Bureau.

How can I help my market?

Share its stories, and invite colleagues to join its Bureau.
